If you’re interesting in being a proposer, get to it, time is of the essence. I'm not going to bother to post the set of solicitation documents (there are a bunch, and I'm too lazy - or, should I say, I'm not getting paid to do this.)

I wonder why this procurement isn't being handled by the U.S. Government Printing Office.

Joel thanks for finding this. Yes it is a head spinner and overkill for most of us. It does open up the subject, though, for the kind of imaging RFPs the reprographic companies could be going after to be profitable. Imaging related RFPs are an example of where IDEAL-Cloud document management in the cloud can be applied by repro companies as we move from a paper to digital business model. There are more and more bids that address business processes at state and local levels every day. Government bids require Regulatory Data Security/Privacy Requirements. CCHIT certification for access to patient health records, FINRA requirements for Financial Data Assurance, NIST standards for data platform interoperability, and more. The world is going regulatory, the days of saying,” I can not find the document “, are over. Governments are requiring compliance like never before. Ideal-Cloud entry level provides OCR and tags documents so they can be found as easily as using Google. In more advanced levels we use digital work baskets to create workflows from 1 step to 100 steps. The beauty of our solution to scanning service providers and repro companies is residual income. Make scanning beginning of revenue, not the end. I have also included some YouTube video links to better acquaint you with our solution. Yes, it applies to construction as well. Ideal-Cloud includes the management of contracts, building permits, purchase orders, regulations and more. We use scanned raster as well as CAD and integrate with existing legacy computer systems for example, AutoCAD, IBM Mainframe, etc. This is all without any added hardware or personnel expense.
