Does Thoroughbred Software actually offer ePlanroom software?

Well, “I’m so old” that I can remember when Thoroughbred Software was in the process of developing its first billing and accounting software package for reprographers.

It’s been a long, long time since then. And, it looks like Thoroughbred’s “Solutions IV” software offering for reprographers has expanded, quite a bit, from way back then.

Here’s what I saw, today, when I looked at a current list of their software (and SaaS products):

Although I did not see any information about this in the list of products/services I mentioned above, it “looks like” Thoroughbred offers some sort of ePlanroom software; at least that’s what it says on this particular page:

Anyone out there using Thoroughbred’s ePlanroom software? If so, how about some user comments?

  1. From what I understand it never really got off the ground. It has been around for many, many years.

  2. Thoroughbred did build a planroom early in the 2000's and had a few installed, working well. However with the major associations, PEiR, ReproMAX and RSA having built relationships with specific Planroom vendors, we felt there was not a large enough market to pursue, so we have concentrated on our ERP solution, Solution-IV Accounting and Business Management Software Products. We use the Planroom as a demo of our Web capabilities along with several other web products we develop and market.
